On a recurring basis, you should take a moment to think about yourself (if you tend to put others first) and to reflect on yourself in order to improve the quality of your life.
Every day, you have the opportunity to make changes to improve your daily life. And for that, you need to start by asking yourself the right questions :

  1. Do you feel well rested when you wake up in the morning ?
  2. Is your stress level average, high, or extremely high ?
  3. Do you exercise regularly ?
  4. Do you lack energy to the point where it prevents you from doing activities ?
  5. Are you having trouble maintaining a healthy weight ?
  6. Do you think you are feeding your body well ?
  7. Are you happy at work ?
  8. Do you think your days are ordinary ?
  9. Are you feeling peer pressure ?
  10. Are you happy in your household ?
  11. Do you consider your home a haven of peace ?
  12. Do you spend time relaxing ? Practicing your hobbies ?
  13. Are you able to reconcile your personal, married, family and work life ?
  14. Is your sex life satisfying ?
  15. Are you generally optimistic or pessimistic ?
  16. Do you have mood swings ?
  17. Do you often want to cry ?
  18. Do you take medication regularly to fall asleep, relieve anxiety, or for other reasons ?
  19. Does what others say/think about you affect you ?
  20. Do you feel good about yourself ?
  21. Do you feel aligned with yourself ?
  22. Do you feel loved/surrounded enough ?
  23. Do you have healthy relationships ?
  24. How negatively are your emotional wounds impacting your life ?
  25. Do you have social support ?
  26. Do you have addictions (alcohol, cigarettes, drugs, gambling, video games, etc.) ?

Now that you've asked yourself the right questions, you need to take care of yourself ! Take out your planning tools(computer, cell phone, diary, etc.)

Step 1: Put strategies in place for anything you can improve on from the 26 points mentioned above.
